Kat Edmonson is an award-winning singer, songwriter, composer, and arranger whose music occupies what The New York Times calls “an equal foothold in jazz, cabaret and vintage cosmopolitanism pop.” Raised on the music and films of the early-to-mid-twentieth century, she draws from those worlds to create something distinctly her own—timeless in spirit, yet resolutely of the present.

Her seventh studio album, Have Your Merry Christmas With Me, arrives November 6, 2026. Conceived and arranged by Edmonson, the lush, cinematic record unfolds like the soundtrack to a classic holiday romantic comedy, bringing together original compositions, radically reimagined standards, sensual bossa nova, jazz, gospel, and classic pop.

Edmonson has appeared on Austin City Limits, NPR’s Tiny Desk, A Prairie Home Companion, and The Late Show, and has performed on stages from Carnegie Hall to the Montreux Jazz Festival and the Blue Note in Japan.
